Who We Are
United Way of Central New Mexico is the way our community comes together to help itself.
We endeavor to be a place where problems are solved through community involvement and by measuring results. Our goal is to help those most vulnerable and strengthen our community by increasing philanthropy and developing shared solutions.
Our core values of Impact, Customer Centered, Integrity, Leadership and Passion reflect the overall mission of UWCNM. We work with the community to create positive impact while compassionately anticipating the needs of our stake-holders. We foster a transparent environment, inspire and guide leadership in our community and are passionate about improving the lives of those most vulnerable in central New Mexico.
United Way of Central New Mexico is a local, nonprofit charity governed by local people (with a Board of Directors) and serving the people of Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia Counties. We are one of over 1,200 local United Ways across the country that belong to an association called United Way of America.
