Why we do research. . .

UWCNM does donor research every 3-5 years to learn from our contributors. We use the information to provide the best customer service as well as to create better solutions for our community.

Our Priority Focus Areas

The Community Fund grants are divided into four Priority Focus Areas.

Helping Children and Families Succeed
Supporting services that promote a safe and nurturing environment for children and families.

Improving Health and Wellness
Improving access to physical and mental health care as key components in a productive community

Increasing Self-Sufficiency
Helping those challenged by birth and life events with support, resources and information to meet their immediate and long-term needs which will enable them to increase their independence and improve their quality of life.

Empowering Victims of Violence
Empowering both adult and child victims of violence by providing a multi-disciplinary, accessible, culturally appropriate service delivery system.

Grants for Organizations

Advocating for our community includes helping to build and strengthen other nonprofit organizations. One way we do this is through grants. We currently fund these grants:

Annual Community Fund Grants

Emergency Grants

Technology Assistance Grants

Women In Philanthropy Initiatives

Young Leaders Society Initiatives
