When you donate money to United Way of Central New Mexico, exactly where does it go? Who makes those decisions? Volunteers decide.

Each year, over 300 volunteers provide a rigorous, informed and onsite review for programs that seek United Way funding. Programs are examined for need, for efficiency and effectiveness, and for fiscal accountability. This process, unique to United Way, provides quality assurance on behalf of donors who designate to the Community Fund.
