Community Fund Donations

Priority Focus Area Grants ('07-'08)
These grants from the Community Fund, totaling $5,201,566, were awarded for program funding at 94 agencies in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance & Valencia Counties. Grants cover the period 7/1/07 to 6/30/08.  The four Priority Focus Areas are Improving Health & Wellness, Increasing Self-Sufficiency, Helping Children & Families Succeed and Empowering Victims of Violence. Together these grants represent 79% of the Community Investment Funds. The PFA grants are the result of an open, competitive process open to any nonprofit organization serving those most vulnerable in the four county area. The grant selection process is the result of the work of nearly 300 volunteers who examine each program for need, effectiveness and fiscal accountability. For a list of grantees, click here.

Priority Focus Area Grants
