Applications for Emergency Grants are accepted throughout the year.

  • Only agencies currently receiving grant funding through United Way of Central New Mexico may apply for an Emergency Fund Grant.
  • Agencies may request up to $10,000 a year.
  • The fund is capped at $30,000 per year.

Family Advocacy Center

Part of Advocating in your community is creating long-term change. Your United Way helped create this change in partnership with the City of Albuquerque and fourteen onsite agency partners by opening the Albuquerque Family Advocacy Center. The Center is a safe, secure and caring environment that focuses on the needs of victims of interpersonal crime.  The center is committed to providing victims of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault and their families with a safe setting to assist in addressing and overcoming the trauma of their experience and break the cycle of violence that destroys families.
