All organizations wishing to apply for UWCNM Issue Area funding must attend one of the mandatory training sessions listed above. No Exceptions. Following training, agencies may request a log in to the application website. Information about the application website and log in process can be obtained by contacting Mary Regnier at mary.regnier@uwcnm.org.
Program Grant Applications Due
Monday, November 14, 2011 @ 4:00 PM
The online grant application and all supporting documents [501(C)3 letter, IRS Form 990, Board of Directors list and the current audit (for agencies over $500,000) or current financial statements signed by Board Chair (for agencies under $500,000)] must be uploaded into the grant application in order to submit. November 14, 2011, 4:00 PM deadline. Applications received after the deadline or without all supporting documents will not be considered for funding. No exceptions.
Grant Application Review
November 15, 2011 to December 3, 2011
UW Staff will review all grant applications to ensure basic criteria are met, including 25% or less administrative cost and dates of financials/audits and 990 forms. Request report from software developer for UW Staff to review in depth to ensure volunteers have complete information, including correct budgets, measurable goals, etc. Financial Standards Subcommittee will meet to review 990s, admin costs and budgets. If agencies do not comply, they will be removed from the process.
