Wells Fargo leads United Way giving nationally for a third year in a row

Congratulations Wells Fargo! For the third year in a row, Wells Fargo was United Way's top national campaign. In 2011, Wells Fargo team members pledged more than $56 million through the company's "Community Support and United Way Campaign". The Wells Fargo campaign is only one part of the company's larger, strategic investment of $213.5 million in communities. Additionally, more than 52,000 Wells Fargo team members volunteered over 1.5 million hours – a 10.8% increase over last year – with 28,000 nonprofits and schools. As part of this effort, team members leveraged their professional expertise to deliver financial education using the company's Hands On Banking program.

UPS - Thank you campaign

Over the past 28 years, UPS nationally has donated an incredible $1 billion to improve lives and communities in partnership with United Way. Join us in thanking UPS, its employees and retirees for their generosity and ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for a better life for all. Right now, across the country there is a Thank a Driver campaign going on and we need your help: Thank any and all UPS drivers you see for the difference they are making in our communities. Our local UPS folks have been great partners of ours, and have done consistently great campaigns, so if you can, tell them thanks on behalf of a grateful community.
