With these approaches, you have flexibility to change beneficiaries if your family's needs change during your lifetime.
Bequests - Make UWCNM a beneficiary in your will or trust.
David & Susan Weymouth and Michael & Janice Blake have made United Way of Central New Mexico beneficiaries of their estate plans at the Tocqueville Legacy Circle level ($200,000+). After their lives, their endowments at United Way of Central New Mexico will provide for needs through the Community Fund Forever.
IRA Beneficiary Designations - Make UWCNM a beneficiary of your retirement plan.
With a little planning you can leave more for your family and for your charitable legacy while avoiding double taxation.
Do you plan to leave any assets to charities? Many donors, including Ray and Catherine Ziler have agreed that the ideal choice is their IRA or retirement plan. The Zilers' gift will create their Tocqueville Legacy Circle Endowment to support the Community Fund into perpetuity.

Bill and Suzanne Ebel have added United Way of Central New Mexico as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
Your Legacy, Your Passion
As with your annual gift, you may designate your Legacy Gift to benefit the Community Fund, the Issue Areas of the fund, and other 501c3s you wish to support.
Continuing Your Annual Giving with Your Legacy Gift
Your Legacy Gift may fund your endowment. The annual distribution from your endowment may continue your support beyond your lifetime. UWCNM Endowments are held at the Albuquerque Community Foundation, accessing excellent funds management under the most advantageous terms.
