Leadership Donors generously support our community by making an annual gift of $1,000 or more to the United Way of Central New Mexico. Support from our Corporate Cornerstone Companies cover 100% of United Way's low 12.8% administrative costs. Therefore, you may donate to the Community Fund, or choose Agency Designation or a combination of both.

 

The Tocqueville Society

An Extraordinary Spirit of Giving

 

Now celebrating its 14th anniversary, the Society has 505 members and has won national awards for its growth and generosity. Membership is open to those giving a combined annual gift of $10,000 or more.

The Vision Society is comprised of individuals who extend themselves to be part of an ever-expanding collective committed to improving the quality of life in our community. Membership is open to those giving an annual combined household gift of $5,000 - $10,000.

The Hispano Philanthropic Society

A collaboration between the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Central New Mexico; aimed at recognizing Hispanic leadership in philanthropy and encouraging all Hispanics to become contributors and become engaged in building stronger, healthy neighborhoods and communities. Membership is open to those giving an annual combined household gift of $1,000.

Women in Philanthropy

Empowering Women to Effect Change in their Communities

 

Women in Philanthropy is about giving women a greater voice, about educating and encouraging women to effect change in their community through philanthropy and leadership while engaging in networking amongst women through a commitment to and relationship with the United Way of Central New Mexico. Membership is extended to women who make an annual combined household gift of $1,000 or more.

  • Members-only events: including social, educational and volunteer activities
  • Mentorship: Mentoring women in their leadership skills
  • Women’s Self-Sufficiency Initiative: Opportunities for women to direct their dollars to benefit other women in the community be directly involved in how these dollars are spent, and the capacity to commit their time and talent to volunteer directly with agencies benefiting from their support

 

The Young Leaders Society

Growing Philanthropy - Growing Leaders

 

Young Leaders Society inspires, educates and encourages young leaders in central New Mexico to employ their time, talent and resources to effect lasting change in their community. Membership is extended to individuals 42 years and younger who make an annual combined household gift of $500 or more.
