Vision Society

The Vision Society is comprised of individuals who extend themselves to be part of an ever-expanding collective, committed to improving the quality of life.

The stylized Roman numeral V (five) in the Vision Society logo denotes that the annual giving level begins at $5,000 with the horizontal bar above the V representing and one thousand indicating additional giving opportunities up to $9,999 for membership.

The right side of the Roman numeral can be seen as a wing, representing this up and coming group which is really taking flight to make a difference. This same image may be reminiscent of a flame, representing one’s sense of compassion for others and passion about just how much applied philanthropy can do.

The logo is intended to evoke a sense of momentum, inspiring us to move forward and work together through our philanthropic generosity. There is openness, an invitation to action, a pointing toward all that is possible.

Family Advocacy Center

Part of Advocating in your community is creating long-term change. Your United Way helped create this change in partnership with the City of Albuquerque and fourteen onsite agency partners by opening the Albuquerque Family Advocacy Center. The Center is a safe, secure and caring environment that focuses on the needs of victims of interpersonal crime.  The center is committed to providing victims of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault and their families with a safe setting to assist in addressing and overcoming the trauma of their experience and break the cycle of violence that destroys families.
