It is our goal to bring you events that are meaningful and keep you engaged with United Way of Central New Mexico year around. Here are some combo events to look forward to this year. Combo events are events which all affinity groups (Tocqueville Society, Vision Society, Women in Philanthropy, Hispano Philanthropic Society, Young Leaders Society, and Legacy Giving) members are invited to.

 

April

Our First Combo Event of the year! United Way of Central New Mexico's Education Celebration. This is a family event to be held at Explora. Come and learn about our hope for New Mexico's education and experience hands on learning experiences with your family.

 

The Young Leaders Society will be collecting all varieties of books to benefit ABEC's Read to Me program. The Program encourages and supports literacy for children and their families.

 

July

Our Second Combo Event – Christmas in July – A fun service project for the whole family. We will collect food items and package gift bags to be given to a local food pantry. Christmas time is not the only time that people are hungry. Our July event will provide lots of items for those empty pantry shelves.

 

August

United Way's Come and Go Agency Fair - Come visit over 20 agencies in one day. Find out how your dollars are making a difference to our community. Representatives from each agency will be available to answer your questions. This is the third combo event.

 

September

Major Mixer at the Balloon Fiesta Park - This is our biggest event of the year. A Balloon Glow, Food, Fun, and Games, plan to come and bring the family. This is our opportunity to thank all our leadership donors and their families for their support to our community.
