Women in Philanthropy

"I can't think of a better way to get to know the talented and generous women in our community then to get involved with Women in Philanthropy. I have learned so much about the tremendous needs within our own community and have found the opportunity to help others so rewarding."

Women in Philanthropy Friends

Women in Philanthropy members have the opportunity to engage one another and their community through activities such as agency visits, networking events, mentoring and the Women’s Self-Sufficiency Initiative.

Agency Visits: Visits to local agencies offer members the opportunity to gain insight and a better understanding of critical issues facing our community.

Networking and Social Events: Unique opportunities for members to connect, contribute and be recognized for their commitment to our community.

Mentoring Program: Pairs members with young professional women in our community, to share their insight and perspective of the community. Want to learn more?

Women’s Self-Sufficiency Initiative: Opportunities for women to direct their dollars to benefit other women in the community, be involved in how these dollars are spent, and commit their time and talent to volunteer with agencies benefiting from their support.

There's no time like to the present to become more involved in the community! Volunteer to be a member on one of our committees to help us create, plan and organize meaningful engagement opportunities for our members. For more information please contact Jeanette Salazar
