Women in Philanthropy

"Women take each opportunity to learn about our communities with compassion, nurturing, and tenderness that mothers and grandmothers bring to families. The Women in Philanthropy program provides proof that investment in Women’s Self-Sufficiency and programs that bond families and provide a hand up have a lasting impact for a lifetime."

WIP Self-Sufficiency

Women who can, helping women who do. We care about giving and seeing results. The Women’s Self-Sufficiency Initiative is a part of the United Way of Central New Mexico Women in Philanthropy and we focus on empowering women to break the cycle of poverty and by supporting women's employability and access to education.
