The Community Service Group provides the volunteer oversight for the program areas of United Way of Central New Mexico. It is made up of the Chair of the Group and the Chair’s of the Community Impact Council, Center for Nonprofit Excellence, Community Building Initiatives, and two members at large.

The Group covers nonprofit agency relationship management, nonprofit funding, nonprofit funding procedures, the Community Impact Council, Community Building Initiative Grants and Collaborations, Women In Philanthropy Initiative Grants, Young Leaders Initiative Grants, and Donor Designations. They meet quarterly.
