UWCNM believes in a convergent approach to change—grassroots from below and policy from above.

Public Policy

UWCNM's Public Policy Committee supports the mission of bringing people and resources together to measurably improve lives while strengthening our community, by working to understand the impacts of local, state and federal level public policy on the Education, Health, Financial Stability and Basic Needs of our central New Mexico communities.

UWCNM Ambassadors

We also have UWCNM Ambassadors, community members who advocate and build support within their communities for our programs and core areas of focus: Health, Education, and Basic Needs and Financial Stability. Each of our Ambassadors receives in-depth training from UWCNM staff.

  • Do you have time to volunteer for a good cause?
  • Are you active and well-networked in your community?

Contact [email protected] or 505-247-3671 if you are interested in becoming a UWCNM Ambassador.
